NIGERIAN SINGER DAVIDO SET TO RELEASE A NEW SONG FEATURING KUAMI EUGENE.

My usage of the statement ‘the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’ will be justified in this case. Why? Because Lynx entertainment signee Kuami Eugene has come under several attacks from the public over a period of one year. Everything about this young man has been criticized ; from his dressing, to his songs and sometimes even the statement he makes. He was recently dragged for allegedly stealing excerpts of his new single ‘wish me well’ from Nigerian rapper Ice Prince’s song. But his comeback was stronger as he featured Ice Prince on the remix of the same song he was accused of stealing. Smart move!

He was also lambasted following a certain statement he made on fellow musician and ‘one corner’ hitmaker Patapaa which even saw Patapaa release one of the most awkward diss songs ever made. A song that gives you instant headache immediately you hear it.
But through all this ‘fart’ Kuami Eugene continues to rise and register his name in the book of consistent hitmakers.
One thing that I have also noticed is that, he is also making waves on the international market as he’s become the toast of many foreign artistes especially the Nigerians.
Davido happens to be one of Kuami Eugene’s admirers. He shows the ‘Angela’ hitmaker love almost all the time under his social media posts and has even been seen in a video dancing to his songs.

Davido set to release a new song featuring Kuami Eugene.

Davido has taken it a step further as he apparently recorded a song with Kuami Eugene last night which is yet to be released. The ‘Assurance’ hitmaker took to his Twitter account to make this announcement. This is a big move for Kuami Eugene and can be ranked as his biggest music feature so far. This will also help register his name in Nigeria which is good for his career as the Nigerian entertainment industry is bigger than that of Ghana’s.

Check out Davido’s tweet and Kuami Eugene’s response.

This is a young man who has described himself as ‘someone who came from nothing to something’. He’s now being featured on BBC Africa and arguably known worldwide. All the best Rockstar.
